About the position

As a Roadside Technician at Carolina Roadside LLC, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency roadside assistance to motorists in Memphis, TN. This position involves performing various services such as lock-out assistance, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire changes. You will be expected to work outdoors in different weather conditions and maintain a high standard of customer service while reporting to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency roadside assistance including lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire changes.
• Possibly install batteries as needed.
• Liaise with the manager and provide feedback on job outcomes.
• Accept and complete all assigned jobs promptly.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Maintain a consistent and excellent attendance record.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive repair, roadside assistance, and/or towing industry (Required and Essential).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have required tools: 3 ton floor jack, impact wrench or 4-way bar, jump box/battery cables, 2-gallon gas can, lockout kit.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; bend, kneel, and balance to change tires and inspect vehicles.
• Smartphone and willingness to download necessary apps.
• Valid driver's license and insurance, along with a fuel-efficient vehicle.
