About the position

As a Senior Robotics and Breaching Fuze Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise to contribute to national security and global defense initiatives. The role demands a proactive approach to risk management, where you will identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the engineering process. Your expertise in electrical engineering concepts and methodologies will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects that align with the strategic goals of national defense. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, fostering trust and ensuring that the engineering solutions provided are not only innovative but also practical and effective in real-world applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead systems engineering efforts for robotics and breaching fuze systems.
  • Manage acquisition processes and modification programs for defense systems.
  • Translate customer needs into technical specifications and engineering solutions.
  • Conduct risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
  • Oversee the life cycle management of products and systems, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, Physics, or IT.
  • Experience with electrical engineering concepts, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience with life cycle management of products and systems.
  • Experience with Robotics.
  • Knowledge of risk management practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience with engineering reviews such as System Requirements Reviews and Critical Design Reviews.
  • Knowledge of System of Systems Integration.
