About the position

As an Applications Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will support Production Operations by researching and analyzing manufacturing issues, managing projects, and providing technical support for manufacturing technology initiatives. This role involves project management functions, including budget and schedule management, and technical status reporting for various manufacturing projects. You will also assist in engineering and technical support for manufacturing process development and equipment specification.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze manufacturing issues, constraints, or cost drivers in current manufacturing processes.
• Perform project management functions for Manufacturing Technology projects, including budget and schedule management.
• Provide technical status reporting and troubleshooting to Production Operations build areas.
• Support team management decisions regarding budgets, schedules, and technical project decisions.
• Assist in manufacturing process development and improvements.

Requirements

• Robotic/Automated drilling experience
• Design and modeling experience
