The Automation Engineer is responsible for supporting the design and development of automation equipment and systems that support manufacturing. It will require the individual to work independently or with other lead engineers to research, plan, develop and design mechanical and electromechanical systems and processes. The role involves coordinating the activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of these systems, as well as assisting in mechanical and process troubleshooting and repair. The engineer will support the needs of the manufacturing department and processes using experience and related knowledge.
