About the position

The Robotics Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon Robotics is responsible for delivering data-driven insights and solutions to enhance robotic technologies within Amazon's warehouses. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data, develop metrics, and create visualizations that inform decision-making and improve robotic architecture and design.

Responsibilities

• Support Amazon's robotic technologies through their Alpha, Beta, and General Availability phases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, program managers, and leaders to deliver projects aimed at improving robotic automation technology performance.
• Use unified and disparate data sources to uncover insights and deliver decision-driving analytics white-papers and automated data visualizations.
• Define and deliver analytics metrics, tools, and insights to shape the robotic technology landscape.

Requirements

• 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
