About the position

The Robotics Education Lab Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a robotics lab, supervising robotics courses, and providing support to instructors and students. This role ensures smooth course delivery, maintains lab equipment, and fosters an effective learning environment aligned with educational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee robotics courses, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Assist and support instructors in delivering course content, managing equipment, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Supervise course schedules, attendance, and adherence to lab policies.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair lab equipment, ensuring all tools and devices are in good working order.
  • Organize lab supplies, parts, and educational resources.
  • Ensure the lab remains clean, safe, and conducive to learning.
  • Develop and enforce lab policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor lab budget, managing expenses to align with allocated funds.
  • Track and report on lab activities, attendance, and course outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a robotics lab, educational setting, or related technical role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in robotics, programming, and related software tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for education, technology, and student development.
