As a Robotics Engineer at our Duncan, SC location, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and programming of ABB robots. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting and programming these robots to ensure optimal performance. You will also be tasked with diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, which is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of our facilities. Your ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics will be vital in executing these tasks effectively. In addition to troubleshooting, you will perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs and fabrication as needed. You will be responsible for planning and executing all maintenance and facilities activities, ensuring that preventative maintenance schedules for machines and secondary equipment are adhered to. This role requires you to track and maintain inventory levels in maintenance, which is critical for ensuring that all necessary parts and tools are available when needed. You will also be involved in implementing activities aimed at cost savings and improving the utilization of machines and secondary equipment. Familiarity with ISO 14001 and TS16949 standards will be beneficial in this role, as you will need to ensure compliance with these quality management systems. Additionally, you will need a working knowledge of costing and controlling assets while maintaining operations within budget constraints. You may also be assigned special projects as deemed necessary and will assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Senior Supervisor as required. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the overall maintenance and engineering functions of the facility.
