About the position

As a Robotics Engineer for a Global Consumer Product Company based in San Jose, CA, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of robotic solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to debug robotic systems, including robotic arms and other in-house solutions. This position requires a solid understanding of both software and hardware components of robotics, as you will be involved in assembling, testing, and deploying these systems in various environments. You will not be responsible for writing solutions from scratch but will work closely with a team of engineers to ensure that the robotic systems function as intended. Your day-to-day tasks will include debugging deployed robotic solutions, performing quality assurance (QA) checks, and assisting with troubleshooting any issues that arise. You will need to have a strong grasp of how robotic arms operate, including the mechanics of how different parts are connected and how to effectively use the software to control these systems. Additionally, you will be expected to run debugging scripts and collaborate with other Robotics Engineers to assemble, deploy, and test these robotic systems. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for robotics and possess the technical skills necessary to ensure the successful operation of robotic solutions. You will be trained on specific systems, but prior experience in debugging robotics or hardware systems is essential. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration are key.
