About the position

The Robotics Engineer will primarily work with ROBOGUIDE to develop and enhance robotic simulations for packaging and palletizing systems. This role focuses on creating collision-free systems that meet customer requirements, overseeing custom tools for simulation workflows, and developing off-line programs for robotic systems. The position also involves collaboration with the Applications Engineering Team and requires travel for customer site visits and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Owning the simulation foundation for developing a trustworthy robot
• Creating digital simulations of robotics in packaging and palletizing systems
• Delivering collision-free systems that meet customer requirements
• Developing and overseeing custom tools to enhance robotic simulation workflows
• Developing off-line programs for current and future robotic system builds
• Pricing and recommending beneficial robotic components for customer requirements
• Collaborating with the Applications Engineering Team to integrate Robotics into mechanical automation
• Traveling to customer sites for application verification and sales support, as well as attending trade shows and expos.

Requirements

• Proficient working with Fanuc Robots
• Experience with ROBOGUIDE simulations
• Technical resource supporting pre-sale and post-sale activities
• Experience in developing off-line programs
• Ability to price and recommend robotic components.
