About the position

This position involves teaching and configuring robotic systems and equipment primarily in the Michigan area, with occasional travel to Memphis, TN. The role requires expertise in various robotic applications and the ability to develop simulations and offline programs for process validation. The position is flexible regarding travel schedules and may extend beyond the initial end date.

Responsibilities

  • Teach TCPs, Frames, Loads, DCS (Safety Configuration)
  • Configure robot I/O (including communications)
  • Set up and configure various types of dispense process equipment within paint shop and general assembly applications
  • Set up and configure various types of vision equipment including robot mounted as well as floor mounted systems
  • Development of Offline Programs (OLPs)
  • Develop simulations with one or more platforms for internal and external process validations
  • Demonstrated competency with one or more robot applications: Material Handling Dispense (Urethane, Sealer, Adhesive, Paint), Welding (Spot, Arc, Laser,...)
  • Optimize the robot application to meet customer requirements
  • Familiar with robot peripheral devices such as dispense and vision equipment
  • Assist with client, customer, or official contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
