About the position

We are looking for a talented Robotics Engineer who wants to make a significant impact in developing and deploying assessment technology. As a Robotics Engineer, you will contribute to designing, developing, testing, and deploying our new robotic and sensor systems. This individual will thrive in an environment requiring strong problem-solving skills, independent self-direction, and an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. You will work closely with the engineering team to efficiently execute design and development strategies and address issues before they reach our valued customers. The Robotics Engineer will also experience a fast-paced, innovative environment where needs and requirements can change rapidly. The ideal candidate will have experience with robotic and advanced sensor systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic and sensor systems for wastewater system assessment.
• Test and deploy new robotic systems and technologies.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to execute design and development strategies.
• Address issues in the design and development process before they reach customers.
• Adapt to rapidly changing needs and requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Experience with firmware development and deployment.
• Experience with requirement gathering and acceptance criteria.
• Strong conceptual and visual design skills.
• Proficient in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), ability to deliver messages concisely and effectively.
• Strong propensity to listen and ask the right questions of customers and the organization.
• Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships and influence at all levels of an organization.
• Experience with control and vision-based processing is a plus.
• Experience with web services software stack is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ROS 2 is a plus.
• Experience in industrial robotics is a plus.
• Agile experience is a plus.
