About the position

The Robotics Perception Engineer will collaborate with robotics engineers and software developers to develop a toolkit for building Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and mobile manipulators. This role focuses on enhancing the localization accuracy of robots using various sensors and involves working in a dynamic environment that promotes innovation and learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop sensor calibration systems, visual SLAM, and semantic mapping.
• Collaborate with the Robotics team to improve localization accuracy of robots through cameras and lidar.
• Build sensor stacks for customer-specific robot applications.
• Communicate effectively with the team to identify creative ideas and foster a culture of learning.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general robotics, computer vision, robotics perception, or a related area.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in programming languages such as C++ or Python.
• 2+ years of experience writing algorithms in Robot Operating System (ROS).
