About the position

The Robotics Engineer will focus on developing and enhancing robotic simulation systems, primarily using ROBOGUIDE. This role involves creating digital simulations for packaging and palletizing systems, ensuring collision-free operations, and collaborating with the Applications Engineering Team to integrate robotics into mechanical automation. The position also requires travel for customer site visits and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Owning the simulation foundation for developing a trustworthy robot
• Creating digital simulations of robotics in packaging and palletizing systems
• Developing and overseeing custom tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of robotic simulation workflows and testing
• Developing off-line programs for current and future robotic system builds
• Pricing and recommending the most beneficial robotic components to meet customer requirements
• Collaborating with the Applications Engineering Team to integrate Robotics into mechanical automation
• Traveling to customer sites for application verification and sales support, as well as attending trade shows and expos.

Requirements

• Proficient working with Fanuc Robots
• Experience with ROBOGUIDE simulations
• Technical resource supporting pre-sale and post-sale activities
• Ability to develop off-line programs
• Experience in pricing and recommending robotic components
