About the position

The Robotics Engineer position at TEC Group Inc involves working with Fanuc and ABB robots to perform integration tasks, configure robot I/O, and set up various types of dispense and vision equipment. The role requires fluency in robot programming and the ability to develop offline programs and simulations for process validation. This position is critical in optimizing robot applications to meet customer requirements and may require working during the holiday season.

Responsibilities

• Fluency in both Fanuc and ABB robots.
• Define integration tasks and list standards from customers.
• Update site information.
• Teach TCPs, Frames, Loads, and DCS (Safety Configuration).
• Configure robot I/O including communications.
• Set up and configure dispense process equipment within paint shop and general assembly applications.
• Set up and configure vision equipment including robot-mounted and floor-mounted systems.
• Develop Offline Programs (OLPs).
• Create simulations for internal and external process validations.
• Demonstrate competency with robot applications such as Material Handling, Dispense, and Welding.
• Optimize robot applications to meet customer requirements.
• Assist with client and customer communications regarding assignments.

Requirements

• Experience with Fanuc and ABB robots.
• Ability to configure robot I/O and set up dispense and vision equipment.
• Proficiency in developing Offline Programs (OLPs) and simulations.
• Competency in various robot applications including Material Handling, Dispense, and Welding.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Ford is a plus.
• Familiarity with robot peripheral devices such as dispense and vision equipment.
