About the position

The Robotics Engineer at Rotor Technologies in Nashua is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robotics software and hardware systems. This role involves working with C++ to build, troubleshoot, and debug various robotics systems, including multi-node telemetry and communication interfaces, as well as signal processing and sensor fusion on embedded Linux systems. The engineer will also collaborate with the development team to create simulations and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robotics software and hardware systems using C++.
• Build, troubleshoot, and debug robotics systems such as multi-node telemetry and communication interfaces.
• Implement signal processing and sensor fusion techniques using cameras and lidar on embedded Linux systems.
• Collaborate with the development team on simulation and user-friendly GUI development.
• Create highly responsive human-machine interfaces with images and messages.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional experience in designing and implementing robotic sub-systems, including robot perception and control.
