About the position

The Robotics Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and deploying assessment technology, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and deploying robotic and sensor systems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, self-direction, and effective collaboration within a fast-paced and innovative environment where requirements may change rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic and sensor systems.
• Test and deploy new robotic technologies.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to execute design and development strategies.
• Address issues proactively before they reach customers.
• Contribute to requirement gathering and acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• Experience with firmware development and deployment.
• Strong conceptual and visual design skills.
• Proficient in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships.
• Experience with control and vision-based processing is a plus.
• Experience with web services software stack is a plus.
• Working knowledge of ROS 2 is a plus.
• Experience in industrial robotics is a plus.
• Agile experience is a plus.
