About The Position
As a Robotics Field Service Engineer at Formic, you will be responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for Formic's robotic cells in customer sites. You will coordinate and execute inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks on robotic-centric manufacturing cells in the field. Your role will involve systematically diagnosing technical issues, applying standard resolution tactics, and repairing equipment with consistency. You will demonstrate a passion for robotics-centric automation and be energized by the variety of manufacturing settings you will encounter. Additionally, you will proactively identify potential problems and provide solutions, instilling customer confidence in Formic service. You will provide detailed service reports that list the issue, root cause analysis (RCA), and solution, and lead RCA activities with a team of engineers and technicians. Effective communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders is essential, as is mentoring junior or newly hired Field Service Engineers and Technicians. You will also ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
