About the position

The Robotics Field Service Engineer (FSE) position at ScriptPro is a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with customer service skills. This remote position requires heavy travel across the country, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy being on the move. The FSE will be responsible for maintaining ScriptPro's advanced computer-based technology and automation equipment at various customer sites, which include federal agencies and major hospital systems. This role is critical in ensuring that the automation robots and related equipment function optimally, thereby supporting healthcare providers in delivering quality services. In this position, the FSE will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment both onsite at pharmacies and remotely via phone. The role also involves administering training and support to pharmacy staff as needed, diagnosing customer workflow issues, and optimizing the performance of ScriptPro systems. Given the nature of the job, the FSE is expected to travel 80% or more, which includes both long-distance driving and air travel. The physical demands of the role require the ability to lift up to 55 lbs unassisted and up to 120 lbs with assistance, as well as the capability to push or pull up to 800 lbs. The FSE must also be prepared to stand for 6-8 hours a day and be available 24/7 during scheduled shifts. The position offers a competitive starting salary of $24/hour or $50K annually, with opportunities for generous overtime and bonuses. ScriptPro emphasizes work-life balance, providing a rotating schedule of 9 days on followed by 5 days off. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment onsite at pharmacies and remotely by phone.
  • Administer training and support to pharmacy staff when needed.
  • Diagnose customer workflow issues and optimize ScriptPro system performance.
  • Travel 80% or more, including long-distance driving and air travel.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance as an essential function of the job.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Preferred BS in Electronics or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • General knowledge of IT, Windows NT/XP/7/8/10.
  • Experience with computer systems repair and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to lift 70+ lbs. daily, including when traveling by auto or air.
  • Ability to obtain Department of Defense security clearance after date of hire.
