About the position

The Robotics Mechanic position at Neya involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of off-road vehicles to ensure their safe and reliable operation. This role is crucial for supporting the company's vehicle fleet, which is integral to their advanced robotics solutions for commercial and defense customers. The mechanic will conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs, aiming to reduce vehicle downtime and enhance fleet reliability.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles and peripheral hardware and software systems at the shop and travel to test sites as needed.
• Perform maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Conduct required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment within planned time tolerances.
• Diagnose and repair or replace hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components.

Requirements

• High school degree with advanced training (trade school or similar) and 5-6 years of experience.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems and components on a wide range of vehicle types.
• Ability to maintain all necessary tools for maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
• Experience with computer-based diagnostic software for OEMs and component manufacturers.
• Assembly and industrial electromechanical skills and experience.
• Basic computer skills including email etiquette and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and management.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to recognize problems and create and present solutions.

• Current CDL License holder or willingness to obtain one within the first 6 months of employment.
