We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with a focus on Onboard Infrastructure and Drivers. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with engineers from various domains to build the Kodiak real-time operating system that empowers our autonomous vehicles. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing our core infrastructure and libraries using modern C++, as well as building highly reliable and performant compute and network systems. You will work closely with next-generation LIDARs, cameras, radars, and other sensors, gathering metrics, analyzing, and optimizing the operation of Kodiak's autonomous systems. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our technology as we continue to innovate in the autonomous freight space.
