About the position

The Robotics Programming Engineer Intern will assist in the operation, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of welding robots, cobots, C&C machines, and lasers in a production environment. This role is designed for students pursuing a degree in engineering or related fields, providing hands-on experience in robotics and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate robots and train others on their operation.
  • Oversee the operation of robots and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing group regarding robot programming and related processes.
  • Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of fixtures.
  • Design welding programming for robots to ensure safe and effective weld execution.
  • Identify and coordinate projects involving robots, including new technology and capital equipment installation.
  • Read blueprints and interpret symbols and assemblies, understanding failure analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, robotics, mechatronics, programming, or a related field.
