About the position

The Robotics Project Engineer will be responsible for managing engineering activities in ongoing equipment deliveries, ensuring that projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications and relevant standards. This role involves coordination across various internal disciplines and acting as the single point of contact for project management, supply chain management, and manufacturing facilities. The position also includes responsibilities such as project reporting, technical project management, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Engineering activities in ongoing Equipment deliveries.
  • Establish and follow-up on schedule and budget for the deliveries.
  • Follow-up on internal disciplines across the organization and establish good communication for smooth execution of the delivery.
  • Arrange and lead deliverable start-up meetings, design review meetings, and status meetings throughout the delivery.
  • Ensure Engineering delivers according to specifications and follows relevant standards and rules.
  • Follow-up project documentation, including preparation of documentation for the User Manual and checking of drawings.
  • Report progress on Engineering activities in the reporting system and to managers.
  • Function as the single point of contact for the delivery towards Project Management, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing Facility.
  • Summarize and complete the delivery with Engineering delivery report and Lessons learned meeting.
  • Perform overall project reporting for Engineering.
  • Take on the Technical Project Manager role in projects.
  • Manage deliverable and project scheduling.
  • Give training presentations in various relevant subjects.
  • Engage in process improvement.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Bachelor of Science in engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Product or Project Engineer.
  • Structured, well organized, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Good cooperation and communication skills.
  • Positive mindset and welcoming of challenges.
