About the position

The Rod & Bar National Account Sales Manager at Arconic is responsible for executing the sales strategy for the extrusions market, focusing on both end users and distribution channels. This remote position aims to drive profitable growth by managing existing customer relationships and developing new ones, while collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful execution of sales plans and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the customer and product mix to maximize profitability.
  • Develop a pipeline of new customers and product/market opportunities to ensure sustainable growth objectives are attained.
  • Negotiate and close deals and visit customers and prospects regularly.
  • Manage the execution of contracts, payment terms, and address potential complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Grow customer intimacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Industrial Sales environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10 years' experience in a Sales position in the Aluminum Hard Alloy Extrusions Industry or selling to metal manufacturers/distributors.
  • Familiarity with Aluminum Extruded products, processes, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience in Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, Firearm, Electrical Connector, or Large Press Markets.
  • Preferred location: East Coast or Midwest region of the US.
  • Strong technical abilities and negotiation skills.
