About the position

Clean Harbors is looking to hire an Asset Manager who will be responsible for the overall lifecycle management of a specific group of assets, such as vehicles or heavy equipment, that are utilized in the Company's Service or Facilities operations. The role involves comprehensive oversight of lifecycle management, which includes asset acquisition and justification, asset deployment, asset utilization, designing and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules, and final asset disposition or disposal at the end of the lifecycle. The Asset Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that assets are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. The primary measures of accountability for this position include Asset Utilization and Uptime, which are critical metrics for assessing the performance of each asset. Additionally, the Asset Manager will be responsible for monitoring Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) and minimizing Maintenance Costs. This position requires a strategic approach to asset management, focusing on optimizing the use of resources while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure that asset management practices align with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the lifecycle management of a specific group of assets, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Design and implement preventative maintenance schedules for assets.
  • Monitor and report on Asset Utilization and Uptime metrics.
  • Analyze Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) and work to minimize Maintenance Costs.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective asset management practices are in place.

Requirements
