About the position
Waste Pro is seeking energetic CDL Drivers to join their team in Blytheville, AR. This role involves the delivery and emptying of large containers for commercial customers, ensuring a high level of customer service and adherence to safety protocols. The position offers a sign-on bonus and a driver award for meeting specific criteria over time.
Responsibilities
- Secure containers by attaching hook to container and using control levers to pull containers onto the truck bed.
- Provide exceptional customer service during refuse operations, maintaining a positive attitude towards company and customer goals.
- Answer customer inquiries and direct them to Customer Service or Sales Representatives for further assistance.
- Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
- Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with Waste Pro procedures and D.O.T. guidelines.
- Maintain a clean truck and wash the exterior weekly.
Requirements
- Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of employment.
- Requires a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Understanding of refuse collection policies and Department of Transportation requirements for commercial vehicle operators.
- Ability to hear and see in normal ranges, with or without correction.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate effectively.
