About the position

The Roll-Off Dumpster Operations Specialist is a pivotal role within our premium waste management company, located in Englewood, FL. We specialize in providing concierge roll-off dumpster services tailored for high-end clients residing on barrier islands and in custom homes. Our commitment to exceptional service and operational efficiency has established us as a trusted partner for residential projects. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Operations Specialist to join our team. This position involves overseeing daily operations, coordinating logistics, and ensuring that we deliver the highest level of service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in waste management, logistics, or a related field, with a keen focus on customer service and operational efficiency. In this role, you will manage the daily operations of our roll-off dumpster services, which includes scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of equipment. You will coordinate with clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery and pick-up of dumpsters, while also maintaining and monitoring the condition of our Class 8 roll-off truck, roll-off trailer, and dumpster fleet to ensure safety and reliability. Additionally, you will develop and implement strategies to optimize operations and improve service delivery, assist in the expansion of operations through market research and client acquisition, and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to waste management and transportation. Providing exceptional customer service is crucial, as you will be addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly. Collaboration with the management team to develop and execute business growth strategies will also be a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of roll-off dumpster services, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of equipment.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure timely and efficient delivery and pick-up of dumpsters.
  • Maintain and monitor the condition of our Class 8 roll-off truck, roll-off trailer, and dumpster fleet to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations and improve service delivery.
  • Assist in the expansion of operations, including market research, client acquisition, and fleet management.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to waste management and transportation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute business growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience in waste management, logistics, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of roll-off dumpster operations and Class 8 vehicles is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the barrier islands and local regulations is a plus.
  • Valid CDL is preferred but not required.
