About the position

The Roman Catholic Parish Coordinator will provide essential services for the main post chapel at Fort Knox, Kentucky. This part-time role involves coordinating various religious activities, including Sunday services, religious education classes, and special masses, while ensuring compliance with Catholic Liturgical Cycle requirements and Diocesan regulations. The position requires a flexible work schedule, primarily on weekends, to support the parish community effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform Catholic Parish Coordinator services for the 1100 Sunday Catholic Service, including Sunday services, religious education classes, and special masses.
• Assist the Catholic Chapel Parish with ecclesiastical support for the Catholic Liturgical Cycle, Canon Law, and Sacramental requirements.
• Provide coordination support for the EERS of Catholic worship, sacraments, rites, and ordinances.
• Coordinate administrative support for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.
• Prepare administrative support for priests for Catholic Rites, Sacraments, and Ordinances.
• Coordinate parents' meetings for sacramental preparation.
• Support special events in the liturgical year such as Advent, Christmas, Lent/Easter programs, and holy days of obligation.
• Provide administrative support for parish activities and special religious events.
• Coordinate promotional endeavors and advertising campaigns for parish program events.
• Maintain adequate records of functions and coordinate religious classes and meetings.

Requirements

• Familiarity with The Order of the Catholic Mass and Catholic Liturgical Hymns.
• Two years of experience in Catholic worship, Education, and Liturgy.
