Requirements
- Master's Degree in Theology or Divinity
- Knowledge of different faiths to perform various religious rituals, lead prayers, and answer spiritual questions
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills to talk with and effectively counsel those with spiritual needs
- Ability to provide emotional support and counseling
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with people of all ages with empathy and compassion
- Consent of the Bishop of the Diocese of Orange - Ordained and in good standing with the Bishop or Superior of one's home diocese or Order
- RQI Responder - American Heart Association
Nice-to-haves
- Six (6) months of experience in providing spiritual care in a healthcare or equivalent setting
- Five (5) or more years of pastoral experience
- One (1) or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or completed a chaplain training/internship program or equivalent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

- Competitive salary range from $66,248 to $109,304 based on experience and education
