About the position

The Roof Lead at Freedom Forever is responsible for leading a crew in the installation of residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role involves ensuring quality and safety in all installation practices while motivating team members to perform their best work. The position requires hands-on skills in solar installations, minor electrical work, and adherence to safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain solar PV systems on various surfaces including rooftops and ground mounts.
• Drive company vehicle to and from the branch and job sites.
• Load and unload project materials from the vehicle and to the installation site.
• Perform PV electrical work independently or under supervision.
• Provide direction and task assignments for crew members at the installation site.
• Ensure all work adheres to Freedom Forever plan sets and safety regulations.
• Maintain communication with the crew lead and update on project progress.

Requirements

• Proven experience in solar installations.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to perform minor electrical work and follow safety practices.
