About the position
Porter Roofing, a small roofing business located in Orangevale, is seeking a skilled and experienced roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various roofing techniques and materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship on every project. This position involves installing, repairing, and replacing different types of roofing systems, as well as performing inspections to identify roof issues and recommending appropriate solutions. The roofer will work with a variety of materials, including shingles, tiles, metal, and asphalt, and will utilize both power and hand tools effectively to complete roofing tasks. Compliance with safety regulations and building codes is essential, and the roofer will collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time. Additionally, the role requires driving a truck with a dump trailer to pick up materials as needed.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, or replace different types of roofing systems

Requirements
- Experience in roofing including remodeling, tile laying, stucco, frame carpentry
- Proficiency in reading blueprints for roof installations
- Knowledge of using power tools for roofing tasks
- Clean driving record
