About the position
American Staffing is seeking a skilled Roofer/Laborer for a local roofing company in Idaho Falls and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction and roofing, with hands-on experience using power tools and performing various labor-intensive tasks. This position involves assisting in the installation and repair of roofs, which may include working with different materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal. The role requires a commitment to safety, as the candidate will be expected to follow all safety guidelines and protocols while working on construction sites. The work environment is dynamic, often requiring teamwork to complete projects efficiently and effectively. The candidate should be prepared to perform general labor duties, which may include lifting heavy materials, cleaning work areas, and assisting other trades as needed. This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, offering a pay range of $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements
- Experience in roofing, carpentry or related fields

- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
