About the position

The Roofing General Manager/Sales Manager is responsible for driving the team and building the organization within the roofing industry. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, financial management, and ensuring customer satisfaction while fostering a positive work culture. The position requires a strong focus on operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement to achieve company objectives and support growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives, including revenue growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of employees, including sales, operations, and administrative staff, to deliver exceptional results and foster a positive work culture.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, acquire new customers, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including project management, supply chain, and logistics, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols to minimize risk and protect the company's reputation.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded through exceptional service and quality workmanship.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence throughout the organization to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to support business objectives and foster growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management on key performance metrics, operational challenges, and strategic initiatives, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the roofing industry or related construction field.
  • Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and exceed customer expectations.
  • In-depth knowledge of roofing industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
