About the position

The Roofing Outside Sales Manager at United Roofing & Exteriors is responsible for leading a sales team in the field, focusing on customer management, sales goals, and team development. This role involves canvassing neighborhoods, conducting roof inspections, and assisting homeowners with insurance claims related to storm damage. The manager will also prepare and deliver sales presentations, motivate the team, and collaborate with leadership to achieve profitability and sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assist the sales team with assessments, consultations, and customer-related management.
• Canvass local neighborhoods to schedule courtesy roof inspections.
• File claims related to wind and hail damage.
• Train and coach project consultants on lead generation, inspections, claims, and relationship building.
• Identify new business opportunities through referrals, provided leads, and canvassing.
• Assist homeowners with insurance claims due to storm damage.
• Motivate the team to meet sales goals and expectations set by leadership.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations showcasing product benefits.
• Collaborate with leadership on team profitability and goals.
• Schedule and inspect roofs, siding, gutters, and windows for homeowners.
• Negotiate and close sales deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

• Proven experience in direct sales, management, and/or outside sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills for managing schedules and lead tracking.
• Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies for improvement.
• Familiarity with the roofing or construction industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
