About the position

The Roofing Production Manager / Field Manager will work directly with the Production Manager to oversee roofing projects, ensuring that materials are ordered correctly and that subcontractors complete construction tasks efficiently. This role involves coordinating various trades, managing inspections, and maintaining site safety and productivity throughout the build process.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Production Manager to ensure materials are ordered properly.
• Communicate with subcontractors to ensure construction is completed correctly.
• Coordinate all trades to be delivered and executed in a logical, progressive manner.
• Schedule and execute inspections with local county inspectors.
• Assist in walking all jobs with crews prior to starting projects to communicate specific details effectively.
• Maintain contact with the Crew Manager to manage material needs throughout the build.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Stay current on low-slope and steep-slope roofing products and installation enhancements.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in roofing (required).
• Valid Driver's License (required).
• Proficient in safety requirements for building sites; OSHA certification is a plus.
