About the position

The Roofing Production Manager at RoofCrafters Roofing LLC is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of roofing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a self-starter with strong time-management and problem-solving skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. The manager will ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining effective communication with clients and managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-time, in-budget projects by executing within the intended scope, timeframe, and funds.
• Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines, and grow relationships.
• Develop detailed project plans outlining execution strategies, including objectives, schedules, and costs.
• Track and communicate progress to clients and internal leadership, measuring performance effectively.
• Monitor all phases of construction and possess knowledge of performing jobs in every area of production.
• Develop, implement, and monitor reports that track the progress of every job in production.
• Ensure safety by monitoring safety inspection forms and employee safety, holding self and team accountable, and providing re-training when guidelines are not met.
• Work with contractors and suppliers to negotiate fair and optimal material costs.
• Track and resolve all production-related issues and warranty calls.
• Attend required meetings to stay aligned with project goals.
• Manage and lead the team, focusing on training, increasing efficiency, and assisting in problem identification and resolution.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience and knowledge of all roofing systems including shingle, metal, TPO, specialty, and repairs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced skills in time management and task prioritization.
• Passion for managing teams and driving results.
• Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Previous experience with Acculynx or another CRM, or the ability to learn one.
• Ability to climb a ladder and access roofs; not afraid of heights.
• Ability to enter confined spaces such as attics.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, twist, and move efficiently with reasonable accommodations if required.
