About the position

The Roofing Production Manager at Roof Medic is responsible for overseeing all aspects of roofing production, ensuring quality control, and leading a team of employees and subcontractors. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of steep slope roofing, and the ability to implement systems that enhance productivity. The position is primarily office-based, demanding proficiency with technology and effective management of relationships with suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of Roof Medic personnel and subcontractors.
• Implement new systems to increase productivity and quality control metrics.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and seek out new partnerships.
• Ensure effective communication between departments and homeowners.
• Train and supervise direct employees, crews, and subcontractors as needed.
• Organize, plan, and execute work assignments efficiently.
• Negotiate and contract with crews and pay.
• Drive excellence in customer communication and maintain constructive relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years steep slope roofing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience.
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
• Prior project management experience.
• Strong computer skills including email, Google, and CRM.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior customer service or call center experience.
• Knowledge of local and state building codes and regulations.
