About the position
The Roofing Project Manager will oversee the execution of commercial roofing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, to specifications, and to the client's satisfaction. This role involves managing communication and coordination between contractors and clients during construction, with a significant amount of time spent in the field.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction with all aspects of the project.
- Understand project parameters, goals, and budgets.
- Oversee contractors during the project execution.
- Ensure the final project meets specifications and regulations.
- Provide high-level quality management oversight for quality assurance.
- Visit job sites as needed, approximately twice a week.
- Maintain excellent communication with both clients and contractors.
- Manage 6 to 8 jobs simultaneously.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience and leadership experience preferred.
- Experience in roofing or roofing-related industries.
- Comfortable working from heights with lifts, scaffolding, and/or swing stages.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skills with relevant software, including BlueBeam and Microsoft 365 applications.
