About the position
As a Roofing Project Manager at our fast-growing roofing company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of residential roofing projects from inception to completion. This position is based in Parsippany, NJ, and offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $95,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and performance bonuses. We are currently experiencing significant growth, and we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in Morris County, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring 100% customer satisfaction by effectively communicating with customers and coordinating with the crew leader to verify that the correct materials are on site. You will meet with customers at the beginning of each installation to determine their preferred method of communication and provide them with midday updates on the progress of their projects. Additionally, you will schedule all necessary inspections and complete an installation checklist for each project, ensuring that all company equipment is clean and in working condition. You will also be tasked with reviewing prior weeks' installations and inventory counts with the Project Supervisor, as well as ensuring that all payments are delivered to the office or your supervisor within 48 business hours. Your ability to implement new and evolving processes will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Meet with or call each customer at the beginning of each installation to determine their preferred method of communication.
- Meet with the Crew Leader to verify that the correct materials needed are on site.
- Provide customers with midday updates and offer a midday walk-around if possible.
- Schedule all midday inspections required for the project.
- Complete the installation checklist for each project, including yard sign installation in the morning.
- Update all accounts properly after each project.
- Review prior weeks' installations and inventory counts with the Project Supervisor.
- Ensure all payments are delivered to the office or your supervisor within 48 business hours.
- Maintain all company equipment in clean and working condition.
- Help implement new and evolving processes for the position and company.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in construction.
- Experience with solar projects is a huge plus.
- Ability to work independently and on a roof.
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures.
- Clean MVR background check.
- Strong verbal communication skills with crew leaders, customers, and office staff.
- Computer literate and comfortable using an iPad.
- Ability to work variable hours depending on the size of the job.
- Dependable with attention to detail.
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
