About the position

The Roofing Project Manager will oversee the execution of commercial roofing projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and to client specifications. This role involves significant fieldwork, managing communication between contractors and clients, and ensuring quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of commercial roofing projects.
• Manage communication and coordination between contractors and clients during construction.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Coordinate inspections with contractors before, during, and after installation.
• Assess and evaluate roof systems, documenting vulnerabilities and estimating life expectancy.
• Inspect roof system installations to ensure compliance with specifications and installation instructions.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients and contractors.
• Manage 6 to 8 jobs simultaneously.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience and leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in roofing or roofing-related industries.
• Comfortable working from heights with lifts, scaffolding, and/or swing stages.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills with relevant software, including BlueBeam and Microsoft 365 applications.
