About the position
The Roofing Runner position involves supporting roofing crews by ensuring they have the necessary materials and tools on-site. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing processes and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. The Roofing Runner will be responsible for visiting job sites, taking measurements, preparing material lists, and managing the logistics of material delivery and collection.
Responsibilities
- Visit job sites throughout the day to ensure workers have everything they need.
- Take measurements of roofs to assist in project planning.
- Create full material lists for what is needed at each roof.
- Pull permits as required, with assistance from office employees.
- Deliver materials from suppliers to specific job locations.
- Collect roofing materials from the job site and transport them to the warehouse or back to the supplier.
- Keep the warehouse organized and tidy.
Requirements
- Roofing experience and knowledge is a must.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
