About the position

KW Roofing is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representatives to actively seek out, qualify, and secure new sales opportunities in the roofing industry. The role involves engaging with homeowners, conducting property inspections, and managing the sales pipeline to facilitate the claims process and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and generate new sales leads through targeted canvassing and networking efforts.
  • Conduct thorough exterior inspections of properties to identify potential wind and hail damage.
  • Convert inspections into filed claims and signed contracts by effectively communicating with homeowners.
  • Review the scope of work with homeowners and ensure clarity before finalizing agreements.
  • Meet with insurance adjusters on-site to facilitate the claims process.
  • Collect payments and deductibles from homeowners and manage financial transactions seamlessly.
  • Gather referrals from satisfied customers through approved sales and networking initiatives.
  • Build trust and foster long-term relationships with homeowners, focusing on under-promising and over-delivering on commitments.
  • Educate customers about the roofing industry, KW Roofing products, and company policies and procedures.
  • Systematically manage the sales pipeline using our CRM system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Sales Leadership, homeowners, and office personnel.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in weekly sales meetings to align strategies and share best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of roofing products and services, including knowledge of insurance claims and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to conduct property inspections and assess damage effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools for pipeline management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and conduct roof and property inspections.
