About the position

The Roofing Service Sales Manager will oversee the service division of a leading commercial roofing contractor in Atlanta. This role is designed for an experienced individual who can manage a team, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction while also having the autonomy to grow the division and earn significant commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers, technicians, and management.
  • Hire, train, and mentor technicians, creating goals and assisting with their development.
  • Conduct safety audits and manage the production schedule.
  • Prepare quotes and tenders for maintenance, repairs, and mechanical upgrades.
  • Oversee customer invoices and accounts receivable.
  • Manage work orders and bid sheets weekly to establish workload and fluctuations.
  • Track finances of work and provide progress reports.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a supervisory position within commercial roofing.
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing products, standards, and the industry in general.
  • Strong 360-degree communication skills with customers, management, peers, and direct reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
