About the position
EAS Roofing is seeking a skilled Roofing Service Technician to join our team. This full-time position is essential for maintaining our high standards of service in roofing solutions. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues related to roofing, siding, and gutter systems, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential roofs, siding, and gutters to assess damage and determine necessary repairs or replacements needed.
- Provide detailed, accurate estimates and plans for repair and maintenance work.
- Ensure all roofing operations comply with safety and building code standards.
- Drive company vehicle to various job sites as required by the company's schedule and commitments.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain the process and provide updates on the progress of repairs or installations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated with the latest roofing techniques and products.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper stocking of the company vehicle and equipment.
- Assist in the collection of payments and signing of contracts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofing Technician or similar role in the roofing industry.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong ability to assess roofing, siding, and gutter issues and make appropriate recommendations.
- Excellent skills in providing customer-focused service and solutions.
- Solid understanding of the latest building regulations and safety standards related to roofing and exteriors.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the job including lifting heavy items, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
