About the position

The Repair Technician is an essential member of the production department at Exterior Energy Consultants, responsible for performing various minor repair jobs for existing customers. This role not only involves hands-on repair work but also includes assisting with project management and quality control when not in the field. The position emphasizes customer service and requires a positive attitude and a willingness to grow and improve.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot various issues related to roofing repair and leaks.
• Provide outstanding customer service to clients.
• Perform minor repairs on roofs, siding, gutters, and windows.
• Patch drywall and perform interior construction as needed.
• Document work performed with precision.
• Communicate effectively with customers and office staff.
• Work flexible hours, including starting early or working late when necessary.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Experience in construction or handyman work (1 year preferred).
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with roofing repairs.
