About the position

As a Roofing Site Supervisor at Amor Roofing, you will oversee roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring that each project runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role requires a hands-on approach to manage the crew, coordinate with clients, and ensure all work is completed on time and within budget, while upholding the company's reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily operations on job sites, ensuring roofing work is completed according to blueprints and quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate the roofing team to ensure high productivity and craftsmanship.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to develop work schedules and allocate resources.
  • Inspect work throughout the roofing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and local building codes.
  • Ensure all team members follow proper safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients on site, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain detailed daily logs of job site activities and provide updates to the Project Manager.
  • Quickly identify and resolve any issues on the job site to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor material usage and assist in managing inventory to avoid delays.
  • Mentor roofing crew members and provide on-the-job training.

Requirements

  • Experienced in the roofing industry with hands-on install experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in construction management or roofing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret roofing plans and blueprints.
  • Proficiency with roofing tools and equipment.
  • Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing project demands.
  • Physical ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in construction management or roofing is a plus.
  • Experience in both residential and commercial roofing.
