About the position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solar Consultant to join our team. This role is pivotal in promoting and selling solar energy solutions to both residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets.
• Generate leads through door-to-door sales, referrals, and networking.
• Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and our company's products and services.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess customers' energy needs and provide customized solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals that outline the financial benefits and return on investment of solar energy systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize Salesforce or other CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate records.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to close sales.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of solar energy systems and industry trends is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
