About the position

The Roofing Warranty Manager at Baker Home Exteriors is responsible for overseeing warranty inspections and ensuring compliance with quality objectives. This role emphasizes collaboration, customer satisfaction, and adherence to industry standards while providing technical instruction and coaching to on-site personnel. The position requires a blend of leadership, attention to detail, and initiative to manage daily operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of warranty correction with small crews, including material acquisition, job/crew oversight, scheduling, and customer communication.
• Cost-effectively handle warranty corrections with a focus on company interests and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical instruction, coaching, and teaching of various approved methodologies of installation and technique.
• Collaborate with management to follow up on warranty deficiencies to ensure resolution of specific warranty items according to established standards.
• Provide feedback, documentation, and reporting as required.
• Engage customers to assess their satisfaction with service and product.
• Maintain and pursue knowledge of emerging best practices, standards, applications, and methodologies related to service offerings.
• Collaborate with all operational and training management to enhance excellence in quality.

Requirements

• High School Education
• 7 years of experience in Exterior Installation Services
• General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
• Knowledge of business and management principles
• Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
• Advanced technical skills and understanding of installation methodologies
• Proficient in basic business software applications and email
• Ability to actively listen and understand others' points of view
• Ability to coach and mentor on-site personnel
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to monitor and assess performance for improvements
• Social perceptiveness and awareness of others' reactions
• Effective written and oral communication skills
