About the position
The Room Attendant/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas of the hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role involves cleaning various hotel areas, replenishing supplies, and adhering to safety and security policies.
Responsibilities
- Cleans hotel areas including guestrooms, lobby, corridors, elevators, and laundry facilities according to company standards.
- Replenishes supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, linen, and terry in guest rooms and restrooms.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Stocks, organizes, and maintains housekeeping carts and equipment.
- Greets guests in a warm, friendly manner.
- Adheres to safety and security policies to ensure personal safety and the safety of guests and their belongings.
- Uses materials, chemicals, and tools safely to avoid injury and damage.
- Performs house laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing company linen and terry.
- Cleans and organizes the House and Commercial Laundry areas.
- Completes additional duties as assigned by supervision.
Requirements
- Ability to clean and maintain hotel areas to company standards.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
