Key duties include setting up and bussing room service carts and trays, presenting room service deliveries in guests' rooms, and assisting with incoming room service calls as needed. The Room Service Server must adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, as well as Internal Control Standards and objectives. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all guests receive prompt and courteous attention during their dining experience. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Room Service Server must maintain a high level of professionalism and guest relations skills. This includes being attentive to guests' needs, anticipating their requests, and resolving any issues that may arise during service. The position demands a strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear interactions with guests and team members. The work environment is typically busy and can be noisy, requiring the server to maintain focus and composure while delivering high-quality service. The Room Service Server must also be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job, which includes standing, walking, and moving throughout the casino for extended periods, as well as carrying items weighing up to fifty pounds. The role may involve working nights, weekends, and holidays, and candidates must be prepared to work in an environment where smoking is permitted. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Six months previous food and beverage experience in an upscale outlet.
  • Ability to perform wait and server standards within a specific time frame.
  • Excellent guest relation skills and ability to anticipate guest needs.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic manner.
