The Rooms Controller at Club Wyndham La Cascada Resort is responsible for managing the hotel's guest room inventory and ensuring smooth communication between various departments such as Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Reservations. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring guest satisfaction by effectively coordinating room assignments, handling special requests, and supervising upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the hotel's day-to-day guest room inventory.
• Act as a liaison between Guest Services, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Reservations departments regarding guest room status and distribution.
• Organize room moves and control maximum occupancy days.
• Supervise upgrades and ensure special reservations and accommodations are handled properly.
• Maintain a room pool for early arrivals and special requests.
• Communicate priority arrivals with Housekeeping, Engineering, and resort leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain OSHA standards.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
